UCF men’s soccer defeats South Florida 2-0

The UCF men’s soccer team defeated the University of South Florida 2-0 in Orlando, marking the Knights' first victory over the Bulls since 2021. The win extends UCF’s unbeaten streak to three matches to start the 2026 season, with all three matches resulting in shutouts.

Takahiro Fujita scored the opening goal in the 28th minute, assisted by Joey Mueller and Younes Boudinar. Kenn Muendo secured the second goal in the 77th minute, following assists from Alex Partera and Erik Vazquez. UCF goalkeeper Alexis Martin recorded seven saves during the match.

With this result, UCF becomes only the second program in school history to begin a season with three consecutive clean sheets. The Knights join a select group of only six Division I men’s programs that have not conceded a goal through their first three contests of the fall season.
