Halloween celebrations and entertainment trends in Brazil
Various regions in Brazil are hosting diverse Halloween-themed events and entertainment offerings. In Goiânia, the Cidade Rock event at Centro Cultural Martim Cererê features a lineup of horror punk and rock alternative artists, including Hellbenders and Tupinipunk, with free entry upon food donation.
Curitiba is hosting multiple activities, including a Halloween circuit at Cine Passeio involving films, games, and workshops, as well as themed celebrations at Cocktails Continental Batel. In Aracaju, RioMar shopping is introducing a Halloween Geek experience alongside its traditional kids' programming. In São Paulo, PopHaus parks are offering themed activities like face painting and trick-or-treating.
The entertainment sector is also seeing seasonal promotions, such as the UCI cinema chain’s “Day Terror,” which offers discounted tickets for horror classics like “Scream,” “Friday the 13th,” and “Bram Stoker’s Dracula.” Streaming platforms like Disney+ are also highlighting horror titles to coincide with the holiday.
