UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships held in Alabama

The UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships are taking place in Huntsville, Alabama, from September 4 to 7. The event features 341 athletes from 48 countries competing across 53 medal events involving conventional bicycles, handcycles, tricycles, and tandems.

Spain is represented by a 17-rider delegation, including world champions Ricardo Ten and Manuela Vos. The Spanish team includes several athletes from the Cofidis Paralympic Cycling Promises Team, an initiative aimed at developing high-potential athletes.

Mexico is represented by paracyclist Gilda Andrea Hernández Ramírez. Competing in the C2 category, Hernández Ramírez is scheduled to participate in the time trial covering 14.6 kilometers and the road race covering 55.2 kilometers.
