UCLA Athletics announces free student tickets for football and basketball

UCLA Athletics has announced that admission to all regular-season home football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball games will now be free for all undergraduate and graduate students. The new policy takes effect on Saturday, September 19, coinciding with the Bruins’ Big Ten home opener against Purdue at the Rose Bowl.

Tim Harris, UCLA CEO and Director of Athletics, stated that the initiative aims to increase student presence and energy to create a better home environment for student-athletes and coaches. Students can claim complimentary tickets through their student ticket accounts starting the Monday of each game week.

Under the new policy, students may also purchase up to eight guest tickets for most home football games, with the exception of the matchup against USC. Students who previously purchased a 2026-27 Den Pass are scheduled to receive an automatic refund by September 25.
