UCLA defeats Wisconsin 17-7 to remain undefeated at 6-0

No. 12 UCLA improved to a 6-0 record following a 17-7 victory over Wisconsin at the Rose Bowl. Backup quarterback Ty Dieffenbach led the Bruins in his first start, completing 22 of 33 passes for 264 yards.

UCLA's offense relied on rushing touchdowns from Wayne Knight and Anthony Woods to secure the win. The victory marks the first time the program has started a season 6-0 since 2022, and head coach Bob Chesney becomes the first UCLA coach to achieve this start to his tenure.

Wisconsin, now 4-2, struggled with discipline, committing 10 penalties for 102 yards. The Badgers' scoring was limited to a third-quarter touchdown run by quarterback Colton Joseph. UCLA played the game without starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava, who is sidelined with a leg injury.
