UCLA Men's Basketball to host California Baptist in preseason exhibition

The UCLA men’s basketball team is scheduled to host California Baptist in an exhibition game on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Pauley Pavilion. The contest serves as an early look at the Bruins' roster, which features six returning players and four incoming transfers.

Key players to watch include former Auburn Tiger Filip Jovic, who is expected to provide versatility and rebounding, and Serbian freshman Nikola Kusturica, who joins the program after developing in FC Barcelona’s system. Other notable transfers include Sergej Macura, Jaylen Petty, and Azavier Robinson.

Returning veterans for the Bruins include seniors Eric Dailey Jr. and Xavier Booker, alongside junior Trent Perry. Following the California Baptist game, UCLA will host one additional home exhibition against the University of San Diego on Oct. 27 before the regular season begins on Nov. 2.
