UCO Bank hosts customer carnival in Tinsukia to promote MSME and retail loans
UCO Bank held a customer meeting in Tinsukia on August 10 as part of its Resource, MSME, Retail and Agriculture Carnival for the 2026-27 period. The event, attended by General Manager Sreenivasa Rao Kambhampati and Jorhat Zonal Manager Narendra Pratap Singh, aimed to support business expansion, employment generation, and the socio-economic development of Assam.
During the event, officials presented various savings, MSME, and retail loan products. The Jorhat Zone has reportedly sanctioned over Rs 259 crore in loans to 3,600 beneficiaries under the current campaign. Kambhampati also shared the bank’s first-quarter performance for 2026-27, noting deposits exceeding Rs 3.32 lakh crore, advances above Rs 2.72 lakh crore, and total business surpassing Rs 6.05 lakh crore. Additionally, the bank emphasized digital banking services and cyber security precautions.
