UConn names Charlie Stevens as men's basketball general manager

UConn has officially named Charlie Stevens as the new general manager for its men’s basketball program. Stevens joins the Huskies following a five-year tenure with the San Antonio Spurs, where he rose through the ranks from a basketball operations assistant to the Director of Grassroots Scouting.

In his new role at UConn, Stevens will work closely with head coach Dan Hurley. His responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, including roster construction, player development, NIL strategy, scheduling, and revenue generation. This appointment follows the retirement of the program’s first general manager, Tom Moore.

Alongside Stevens’ hiring, UConn announced two internal promotions: Andrew Hurley has been named Assistant General Manager, and Connor Creech has been promoted to Video Coordinator and Director of Analytics.
