UCSC inaugurates intercultural tourism center in Arauco

The Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (UCSC) has inaugurated the ‘Poyewün’ Intercultural Tourist and Gastronomic Linkage Center in the Arauco Province. Driven by the Cañete Campus Technological Institute, the project aims to promote the region's cultural, gastronomic, and tourism heritage to foster sustainable development.

The new 430-square-meter facility includes three specialized workshops, equipped kitchens, food storage areas, and academic workspaces. It also features a 92-square-meter multipurpose room designed for workshops, training sessions, seminars, and culinary demonstrations, intended to connect the local community with national and international specialists.
