UD Almería launches cashless ticket refunds and revamps Almería B after relegation

Season‑ticket holders of UD Almería can claim a refund of the balance accumulated on their cashless cards during the 2025‑2026 season. The balance, generated from ticket sales, fan‑zone purchases and stadium bar spending, will be transferred directly to the holders' bank accounts. Requests must be submitted by 15 July, with refunds issued between 15 July and 15 August. The refunded amount cannot be used for the 2026‑27 season or for future ticket discounts.

Following a drop to the fourth tier, UD Almería's reserve side, Almería B, will compete in Group IX of the Tercera Federación. Coach José María Salmerón remains under contract, though his future depends on his willingness to stay. The squad has undergone major changes, with several players leaving and others retained on contracts through 2027‑2028. The club plans to rebuild the team to serve as a feeder for the first‑team squad and target promotion next season.
