UDA Party cancels Garsen Central grassroots elections

The UDA Party has cancelled grassroots elections at two polling centers in Garsen Central Ward following reports of disruptions and irregularities. The affected locations are Kipao Primary School and Kipao Secondary School.

To protect the integrity and transparency of the electoral process, the party's National Elections Board has scheduled repeat elections for Saturday, August 22. Voting is set to take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The party has urged all candidates, voters, and supporters to maintain peace and discipline, warning that any form of intimidation, violence, or voter interference will not be tolerated.
