Udaipur hosts Vedanta Zinc City Half Marathon for Zero Hunger

The Vedanta Zinc City Half Marathon 2026 was held in Udaipur, Rajasthan, featuring over 7,000 participants from India and abroad. The event was organized to promote fitness and spread the message of ‘Run for Zero Hunger,’ aiming to raise awareness about food insecurity.

The marathon included three categories: 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km. Udaipur IG Gaurav Srivastava participated in the event, noting that the goal was to ensure everyone has access to regular meals. In addition to the hunger awareness campaign, Srivastava used the platform to advocate for fitness, drug prevention, road safety, women's safety, and cyber security.
