Udine hosts expanded Children’s Village for Friuli Doc festival
The 32nd edition of the Friuli Doc festival in Udine is expanding its family-oriented offerings with the return of the ‘Villaggio dei bambini’ (Children’s Village). Located in Piazzetta Belloni and Via Cavour, the space is designed to make the event more inclusive for younger attendees and families.
New features for this year include ‘ArcheFriuli Doc 2026’, a series of fifteen educational workshops organized by the Friulian Society of Archaeology, which allow children to engage in archaeological activities. Additionally, caricaturist Riccardo Elizalde will provide live drawings. For parents with infants, the ‘Oasi del Bebè’ has been relocated to a new position in Piazza XX Settembre near the Galleria Astra to provide a quiet, protected environment.
