Udine to host FVG Pride with parade and activist demonstrations

The FVG Pride event is scheduled to take place in Udine on October 3, 2026. Organized by FVG Pride ODV in collaboration with local entities, the event features a Pride Village at Parco Moretti, which will host discussions, workshops, and musical performances.

The village will include specialized zones such as the Mirko Moriconi Area for debates on queer themes, the Dolly Parton Area for creative workshops, and the Tove Jansson Area. The day's itinerary includes a parade departing at 15:00, followed by evening speeches, artistic performances, and a concert.

Student groups, including the Unione degli Studenti Friuli Venezia Giulia (UdS FVG), are participating to protest against discrimination and transphobia. Student representatives emphasized that the movement seeks to ensure schools remain safe spaces and to challenge political rhetoric that ignores the rights of marginalized identities.
