Italy reports multiple crimes including homicide and fraud

Various criminal incidents have been reported across Italy. In Mirandola, an elderly couple was found dead in their home with severe head injuries; authorities are investigating the case as a suspected double homicide.

In Lauro, three men were arrested for defrauding an elderly woman using a ‘fake nephew’ telephone scam, resulting in the theft of cash and gold jewelry. In Lamezia Terme, two individuals face house arrest for allegedly extorting a motorist at knifepoint.

Legal actions have also been taken in other regions: a 32-year-old woman in Catanzaro was sentenced to two years for stalking and distributing revenge porn. In Benevento, a man is under electronic monitoring for continued harassment of his ex-wife. In Casandrino, a 53-year-old man was arrested for stalking his former partner, including an incident where he climbed scaffolding to reach her balcony.

Other reported incidents include a 54-year-old man in Civitanova Marche charged with illegal weapon possession following a street fight, and a 41-year-old man in Morrovalle charged with assaulting Carabinieri. In Randazzo, a 62-year-old man was reported for carrying knives hidden in a spare tire.
