Udinese Calcio signs David Alaba and unveils new third kit

Udinese Calcio has officially signed Austrian defender David Alaba to a contract running until June 30, 2027. The former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich player joins the club as a free agent to bolster a defense that has conceded 11 goals in five league matches.

In conjunction with club developments, Udinese presented its 2026/27 third kit at Milan Fashion Week. Designed by Giuseppe Buccinnà in collaboration with Macron, the kit celebrates the club’s 130th anniversary. The creative concept draws inspiration from the works of Tina Modotti and Pier Paolo Pasolini, utilizing a cream-based palette to reflect Modotti’s photography.

Technical Director Gokhan Inler commented on the club’s current sporting situation, noting that the team is working to overcome recent results and injury setbacks. He also praised Nicolò Zaniolo’s recent call-up to the Italian national team.
