Udinese striker Idrissa Gueye faces four-month injury layoff

Udinese forward Idrissa Gueye has undergone successful surgery on his right ankle following an injury sustained during a friendly match against Pogoń Szczecin. The procedure was performed by Professor Van Dijk at the San Rossore clinic in Pisa.

The club announced that Gueye is expected to be sidelined for three to four months. This injury presents a tactical challenge for manager Kosta Runjaic, as the young Senegalese striker had been gaining significant momentum, including scoring against Inter Milan, and his absence follows recent physical issues for teammate Keinan Davis.
