Udinese striker Vakoun Bayo suffers muscle injury

Udinese Calcio has officially announced that striker Vakoun Bayo has sustained a muscle injury. Medical examinations revealed a lesion to the biceps femoris in his right thigh.

The Ivorian forward has begun a rehabilitation program. Due to a cautious approach by the club, the exact recovery timeline remains uncertain and will be evaluated on a weekly basis depending on his response to therapy.

Bayo’s absence comes at a critical time for the team and manager Kosta Runjaić, as the player had recently become a key offensive component, including a brace in a recent victory against Venezia and an assist against Inter.
