Udinese technical director Gianluca Nani dismisses transfer rumours on Solet, Kristensen and Zaniolo

Udinese Group Technical Director Gianluca Nani told Sky Sport that there are no concrete contacts with Napoli regarding defender Oumar Solet and rejected circulating rumours about a knee problem, stating that Solet has been fit, missing only a few training sessions in 60 matches. He emphasized that Udinese does not need to sell players and will only consider departures on its own terms.

Nani added that forward Kristoffer Kristensen is among the club’s sought‑after players, but Udinese would only entertain a move if the right offer arrives and the player wishes to leave. He also addressed speculation about midfielder Nicolò Zaniolo’s contract extension, saying the media hype did not result in any actual renewal.

The director highlighted the club’s philosophy under the Pozzo family ownership, describing it as a “privilege” to retain top talent and noting the club’s strategic approach to building the squad.
