Udinese threatens to drop Zaniolo from squad over training camp absence

Udinese general director Franco Collavino said the club is maintaining a cordial dialogue with striker Nicolò Zaniolo as negotiations continue over his contract renewal. The player has not reported for the first training session and remains upset about the terms offered.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Udinese may take a hard line, warning that Zaniolo could be removed from the roster if he does not join the pre‑season camp in Lienz on 22 July. Interest has been reported from Juventus, Milan and Bologna, but no official offers have materialised yet.
