Udon chain opens new shop in Tokyo’s Nishisugamo while Marugame Seimen suspends service in Yokosuka

A new udon restaurant called “Sankoki Udon Makichan” is slated to open in the Nishisugamo district of Tokyo’s Toshima Ward in early September 2026. The shop will be located at 3‑19‑1 Nishisugamo, near the former Chuo Highway and close to Taisho University’s south gate.

Meanwhile, the Marugame Seimen outlet in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture (address: 1‑2‑27 Nobii, Yokosuka‑shi) will be closed on 29 July 2026 for a company‑wide “family holiday.” The day before, 28 July, the restaurant will operate on a shortened schedule from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for maintenance. Other Marugame Seimen locations in Yokosuka remain open as usual.
