Udta Teer film receives mixed reviews for its satirical approach

The film Udta Teer has received varied critical responses, characterized by its blend of political satire, comedy, and national security themes. While some critics noted the film’s cheeky ambition and use of humor to address topics such as Pakistan’s economic and military establishment, others found the execution inconsistent.

Reviewers highlighted Rahul Bose’s performance as a significant highlight, noting his ability to drive much of the film's comedy. However, several critiques pointed to tonal shifts between parody and serious drama as a weakness, with some suggesting that emotional detours and musical sequences interrupted the film's momentum. While the screenplay was noted for containing entertaining scenes and clever twists, some critics described the final product as a tedious mix of spoof and sentiment that failed to consistently hit its comedic mark.
