Uduma Oji Uduma honored as Presbyterian Church Ambassador

Professor Uduma Oji Uduma, the Vice-Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has been honored as a Presbyterian Church of Nigeria (PCN) Ambassador. The recognition was presented during the church’s 180th anniversary celebrations at the Hope Waddell Parish in Calabar.

Professor Uduma, who has a long-standing connection to the church, previously served as the Chairman of the Board of Governors for the Presbyterian Joint Hospital in Uburu. He dedicated the honor to his late parents, citing their faith and values as foundational to his life. The Presbyterian mission in Nigeria, which began in Calabar in 1846, has a historical legacy of integrating evangelism with education and healthcare services.
