UEB Gesteco Cividale wins Serie A2 Supercoppa

UEB Gesteco Cividale has won the Serie A2 LNP Supercoppa for the second consecutive year after defeating Dole Basket Rimini 85-74 at the Pala De André in Ravenna.

Despite a competitive start from Rimini, which kept the score close through the first half, Cividale established control in the second half. The victory was driven by strong defensive intensity and efficient shooting, with Cividale recording a 53% field goal percentage compared to Rimini's 34%. Key contributors for Cividale included Tommaso Vecchiola, Luca Cesana, and Ferrari.

For Rimini, Pierpaolo Marini and Denegri provided the bulk of the offense with 32 combined points, but the team struggled with integration from their American players, Demps and Stephens, who failed to reach double digits. FIP President Giovanni Petrucci congratulated Cividale on their title win and commended both finalists for a competitive championship match.
