UEFA and STRAUSS partner to support European football refereeing

UEFA and German workwear brand STRAUSS have entered a three-year partnership to support and develop refereeing across European football. As the first official partner dedicated specifically to UEFA refereeing, STRAUSS will see its branding featured on referee match and training kits, VAR monitors, and within the UEFA Video Operations Room in Nyon.

The collaboration includes a development fund to support referee education, training, and career progression, alongside backing for grassroots refereeing programs. Initiatives will also aim to increase awareness of the role of officials through campaigns like ‘Be a Referee!’ and content designed to provide fans with insight into the preparation and decision-making processes of high-level officials.
