UEFA announces referee appointments for European play-offs

UEFA has announced the referee assignments for several upcoming European football play-off matches.

For the Europa League play-off between Benfica and Aarhus, Italian referee Marco Guida has been appointed to lead the officiating team at the Estádio da Luz. The second leg in Denmark will be officiated by German referee Daniel Siebert.

In the Conference League, Maltese referee Ishmael Barbara will make his debut officiating a senior Portuguese team when SC Braga hosts Austria Vienna. The return leg in Austria will be overseen by Montenegrin referee Nikola Dabanovic.

Additionally, for the Champions League play-off between Fenerbahçe and Olympique Lyonnais in Istanbul, UEFA has selected German referee Sven Jablonski. Jablonski previously officiated a notable 4-1 victory for Lyon against Rangers.
