UEFA appoints Polish referees to high-profile matches

UEFA has issued significant appointments for Polish football officials. Damian Sylwestrzak has been selected to lead a Polish refereeing team for a prestigious Under-20 Intercontinental Cup match at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium between Real Madrid and Santiago Wanderers.

Sylwestrzak's appointment is viewed as a potential stepping stone toward the UEFA Elite category, the highest officiating tier currently held in Poland by Szymon Marciniak. His team will include assistants Paweł Sokolnicki and Adam Karasewicz, with Damian Kos serving as the fourth official.

Additionally, Paweł Raczkowski has been appointed as the head referee for the match between Real Sociedad and Bournemouth. This follows a period of high-profile involvement for Raczkowski, including his successful stint as a substitute for Szymon Marciniak during a Champions League fixture.
