Poland volleyball team wins Group B at European Championship

The Polish men's national volleyball team secured first place in Group B of the 2026 European Championship following a 3-0 victory over Ukraine in Sofia. The match, which saw Poland win 25-20, 25-13, and 25-22, ensures their advancement to the knockout stage as group leaders.

Led by coach Nikola Grbić, Poland has maintained a perfect record in the tournament, winning all four matches without dropping a single set. Key performances included 20 points from Bartłomiej Bołądź and strong serving from Wilfredo Leon, who helped establish an early 8-1 lead in the first set.

With the group stage concluded, Poland is set to face a team from Group D in the round of 16. Specifically, they will play the fourth-placed team from Group D, which will be determined by the match between Turkey and Latvia.
