UEFA begins stadium inspections for Albania's EURO U-21 2027

UEFA has begun inspecting stadiums and host cities in Albania as part of the preparations for the EURO U-21 Championship in 2027. Guillaume Poisson, UEFA's Director of Operations, noted that the inspections are a sign of confidence in the Albanian Football Federation's ability to organize major tournaments.

Delegations have already visited stadiums in Shkodër and Elbasan to evaluate technical requirements and identify necessary improvements. Host cities have been provided with reports detailing the required interventions. A final working visit is scheduled for March to conduct a conclusive assessment of whether the facilities are ready for the tournament.
