UEFA Europa League and Conference League fixtures scheduled for October 22

Several European club competitions are set to continue this week. In the UEFA Conference League, AS Monaco hosts SC Freiburg. Both teams secured victories in their opening matches, with Monaco defeating FK Jablonec 2-1 and Freiburg winning 3-2 against the same opponent. However, both clubs enter this fixture following recent domestic setbacks, including Monaco's 0-1 loss to Lorient and Freiburg's 1-2 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.

In the UEFA Europa League, Hoffenheim faces Olympique Lyonnais at the SNP Arena. Hoffenheim is seeking its first points in the competition after a 2-0 loss to OFI Crete and a 3-2 defeat to Besiktas. Conversely, Olympique Lyonnais has had a strong start to the league phase, recording wins against Anderlecht and Crystal Palace.
