UEFA fines Croatian Football Federation 57,000 euros

UEFA has imposed a total fine of 57,000 euros on the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) following incidents during the Croatia vs. Spain match held on October 6 at Poljud Stadium.

The disciplinary action includes 30,000 euros for discriminatory behavior by fans, 23,000 euros for the use of pyrotechnics, and 4,000 euros for blocking spectator passages.

In addition to the financial penalties, UEFA issued a conditional two-year suspension that would require closing 20 percent of the stadium capacity at the next Croatian national team home match in a UEFA competition. This stadium closure is not automatic and will only be triggered if further disciplinary infractions occur within the two-year period.
