UEFA Futsal Champions League main round format and qualifiers announced

The UEFA Futsal Champions League has moved into its main round following the conclusion of the preliminary stage. Eight teams have secured their spots in the main round, including Hjørring (Denmark), Chrudim (Czech Republic), Mad Max (Finland), AC Graz (Austria), Bubamara (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Újpest (Hungary), Unisport (Armenia), and Doukas (Greece).

The main round, scheduled to take place from October 27 to November 1, will feature 24 top-ranked clubs and the eight qualifiers from the preliminary round. The competition is divided into two paths. Path A includes the defending champions Sporting CP and other high-ranking teams like Benfica, Kairat Almati, and Barça. The top three teams from each of the four groups in Path A will advance to the round of 16.

Path B consists of teams ranked 12th to 15th and 20th to 23rd, joined by the eight preliminary round qualifiers. The winners of the four groups in Path B will also progress to the round of 16. The knockout phase, including the round of 16 and quarterfinals, will be played over two legs, leading to a final four-team tournament in May.
