UEMC Baloncesto Valladolid and CB Algeciras strengthen squads with new signings

UEMC Baloncesto Valladolid completed its roster for the 2026‑2027 season by signing forward Mohamed Niang. The 24‑year‑old, who previously played for Biele ISB Azpeitia, is described as a versatile interior player capable of playing the power‑five and power‑four positions. He averaged 9.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 8.4 valuation units in 25 minutes per game last season. Niang said joining Valladolid is a step forward and he hopes to help the club achieve promotion.

Meanwhile, CB Algeciras announced the renewal of guard Eugenio Egea for another season in Spain’s third‑tier Segunda FEB. The 23‑year‑old, a native of Badajoz, posted nearly eight points per game while averaging 21 minutes last season. Egea previously spent two seasons with the Unión Linense de Baloncesto before moving to Algeciras, where he is expected to continue playing a key role in the team’s return to the division.
