ueno bank and upay have launched ‘Link de Pagos’, a new digital payment tool designed for merchants and entrepreneurs in Paraguay. This functionality allows users to manage sales autonomously across various digital channels, including WhatsApp, social media, and email.

Unlike previous QR code systems that primarily facilitated transfers between bank accounts, ‘Link de Pagos’ enables the acceptance of both national and international credit and debit cards. The tool follows PCI international banking security standards to ensure protected transactions.

To assist with financial management, the platform includes an administrative interface that tracks payments through three statuses: ‘Active’, ‘Overdue’, and ‘Rejected’. Each payment link remains valid for 48 hours to encourage prompt transactions and organized cash flow management.
