Uepa opens selection processes for 2027 Music and Letras-Libras degrees

The State University of Pará (Uepa) has announced specific selection processes for its 2027 undergraduate programs in Music and Letras-Libras.

For the Music degree, candidates must have completed high school and apply online. The selection process includes mandatory in-person exams consisting of an essay and a specific music knowledge test. The registration fee is R$ 100, though exemptions are available for students from public schools in Pará, people with disabilities, Uepa employees or their dependents, and those registered in CadÚnico.

The Letras-Libras program offers 82 vacancies distributed between Belém and Marabá. In an effort to increase accessibility, the university has provided the full notice in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras). The program is open to both hearing individuals and deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals with basic knowledge of Libras. The vacancies are split between the two cities, with specific quotas reserved for public school students, low-income individuals, Black, Indigenous, and Quilombola populations, and people with disabilities.
