UFC 333 and Power Slap Return for Abu Dhabi Showdown Week

The Power Slap competition will be held on Friday, 23 October at Space42 Arena as part of the Abu Dhabi Showdown Week. The event, now in its third consecutive year, has its tickets on sale via Ticketmaster UAE and will be streamed live and free on the promotion’s YouTube channel. CEO Frank Lamicella said the annual showdown “provides the perfect stage to showcase our live event and our international slap fighters from around the world.”

The following day, Saturday 24 October, UFC 333 returns to Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena, continuing the promotion’s annual staple in the city. UFC CEO Dana White praised the partnership, calling Abu Dhabi “the international fight capital” and noting the growing roster of major combat‑sports events held there. The October card is expected to feature championship bouts, reinforcing the capital’s reputation as a leading destination for global combat sports.
