UFC Freedom 250 draws 34 million global viewers

The UFC Freedom 250 event held on the White House South Lawn attracted an estimated 34 million viewers worldwide, according to figures released by the promotion. The initial report of 17 million viewers in the United States and Latin America (averaging 8.2 million) was doubled by audiences in Australia, China, India, South Korea, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, making the card one of the most‑watched UFC events in history. All twelve fights ended by knockout or technical knockout, a first for the organization, and the main bout saw Justin Gaethje defeat Ilia Topuria by corner stoppage to become the undisputed UFC lightweight champion.

UFC also highlighted a record social‑media performance, with 126 billion video views, 5 billion engagements and 536 000 new followers during fight week. The event was broadcast in more than 170 countries through over 50 partners; viewership data from Spain and France is expected later in July.
