UFC news: Castro loses DWCS bout due to visa issues; Prates eyes Makhachev

Undefeated Brazilian bantamweight Frank da Silva Castro has been removed from the September 8 Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) card due to visa issues. Castro, who holds an 8-0-1 record, was scheduled to face Colton Loud in Week 5 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas. Christian Natvidad, holding a 9-0 record, will replace him in the matchup against Loud.

In separate UFC news, welterweight contender Carlos Prates has discussed a potential title fight against pound-for-pound number one fighter Islam Makhachev. Prates, who holds a 7-1 record in the UFC with seven knockout victories, expressed confidence that while he might face difficult periods during the fight, he believes he can ultimately secure a knockout victory in the later rounds.
