UFC signs former BRAVE CF bantamweight champion Borislav Nikolić as title is vacated

Borislav Nikolić, the former BRAVE Combat Federation bantamweight champion, has signed a contract with the UFC, leaving his title vacant. Nikolić joined BRAVE CF in 2021, compiled a 6‑2 record over eight fights, captured the belt at BRAVE CF 96 in June 2025 and defended it at BRAVE CF 100 before his final appearance at BRAVE CF 104. The UFC invitation prompted his departure, which BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid described as a graduation.

BRAVE CF also announced a new bout for its upcoming BRAVE CF 107 event in Burgas, Bulgaria on August 1. Bahrain’s rising prospect Mohamed Alsameea will fight Swiss newcomer Miran Ramani in a 59 kg catch‑weight contest, after original opponent Aleksandar Hristov withdrew with injury. Both athletes said they are eager to compete and prove themselves on the BRAVE CF stage.
