Uffizi Galleries launches interactive cultural project for under 30s
The Uffizi Galleries have launched ‘Spostare lo sguardo’ (Shift the Gaze), a new project designed to engage audiences aged 18 to 29 with Florence’s artistic and cultural heritage. Running through December 2026, the initiative offers six scheduled appointments featuring interactive formats such as investigative games and theatrical tours.
The program utilizes three major locations: the Boboli Gardens, the Modern Art Gallery at Palazzo Pitti, and the Uffizi Galleries. Activities are led by members of ‘I Nuovi Ets’, a Florentine artistic-theatrical collective of professionals under 35.
Specific sessions include a theatrical path focused on love and relationships at the Boboli Gardens, and an investigative mystery titled ‘Il Salotto rosso’ at the Palazzo Pitti Modern Art Gallery, where participants act as investigators to solve a crime hidden among the paintings. The project is supported by Unicoop Firenze, allowing for free participation.
