UFG History Graduate Program expands international academic presence

The Graduate Program in History at the Federal University of Goiás (PPGH/UFG) is increasing its international footprint in 2026 through several academic mobility initiatives. Seven students are currently participating in international research activities.

Four doctoral students are conducting research abroad through the CAPES-supported Sanduíche Doctorate Program in Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, and Spain. Additionally, three master's students are scheduled to depart in November under the FAPEG-funded 'Goiás pelo Mundo' program to pursue international academic experiences.

These initiatives aim to strengthen the international dimension of historical training by fostering knowledge exchange, research maturation, and the establishment of new academic partnerships and cooperation projects.
