UFO: A Day in the Life launches on Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5

Hamster Corporation announced that the classic 1999 ASCII game "UFO: A Day in the Life" will be re‑released as part of the Console Archives series on August 6, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. The digital title is priced at ¥1,200 in Japan and $11.99 in the West.

The game is an alien‑search variety title in which players rescue missing aliens inside an apartment on the planet Chikyu after the space passenger ship Daimaoh crashes. The Console Archives version adds modern features such as customizable button layouts, save‑anywhere, rapid‑fire settings and visual filters that emulate retro CRT displays.
