UFPA offers free psychological services in Belém

The Psychology Clinic at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), an institution linked to the Ministry of Education, provides free psychological assistance services to university students and the general public. Priority is given to children, adolescents, and adults in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability.

Services currently offered include psychosocial evaluation, psychiatric care, and psychological follow-up. The process begins with an initial intake session to determine if cases will be handled internally or referred to the Health Care Network (RAS).

In-person intake sessions are held Tuesday through Thursday, while Friday sessions are conducted remotely. In-person services operate on a first-come, first-served basis without prior appointment. The clinic is located at Campus Guamá in Belém, Pará, and also serves as a site for mandatory clinical psychology internships for students.
