UFPR offers 3,000 online human rights education vacancies

The Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), in partnership with the Ministry of Education’s Secretariat of Continuing Education, Youth and Adult Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion (Secadi), is offering 3,000 online vacancies for a course titled “Human Rights Education in the training of education professionals through intertextual listening.”

The program is open to basic education professionals across Brazil, including directors, pedagogical coordinators, teachers, assistants, and secretaries. Applications began on August 28 and will remain open until September 26, 2026. To register, applicants must provide an official photo ID, CPF, and proof of professional ties to basic education, such as a pay stub, employment contract, or work booklet.

Part of the National Policy on Human Rights Education in Educational Institutions (EducaDH) and the National Network for the Training of Education Professionals (Renafor), the course aims to connect human rights principles with the practical realities of Brazilian schools using intersectionality and intertextual approaches. The training consists of two modules of 90 hours each, scheduled for late 2026 and early 2027.
