UFRGS announces 2027 entrance exam and campus open house

UFRGS vestibular higher education university admissions Rio Grande do Sul

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) has announced details for its 2027 entrance examination (Vestibular). The selection process will offer 4,058 vacancies across 98 undergraduate courses. Applications are scheduled to open on August 24, 2026, and will remain open until September 21, 2026. The registration fee is set at R$ 180, with a payment deadline of September 22, 2026.

In addition to the Vestibular, which accounts for 70% of vacancies in each course, 30% of UFRGS spots are allocated through the SiSU system using Enem scores.

Separately, the UFRGS Litoral campus is hosting its 'Portas Abertas 2026' event. This initiative allows high school students to visit the main campus and the Center for Coastal, Limnological, and Marine Studies (Ceclimar) in Imbé to learn about academic projects, laboratories, and available courses.
