UFU Hosts 27th Philosophy Week with Franco‑Brazilian Modernity Symposium

The Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) is holding its 27th Philosophy Week in November. As part of the program, the Institute of Philosophy and the Graduate Program in Philosophy will organize the second Franco‑Brazilian Journeys on the Modern Age, focusing on the order and nature of knowledge in the modern era and its contemporary repercussions.

The event brings together scholars from Brazil and abroad, receiving international support from LabEX‑COMOD at the University of Lyon, the CAER at the University of Aix‑Marseille, and the Polish Academy of Sciences. Discussions will address how digital post‑truth and new political extremisms relate to the legacy of the 17th‑18th‑century transformations in science and culture.
