Military officials from Uganda and Burundi recently visited Israel to discuss the deployment of troops to Gaza. This participation is part of an international security force envisioned by the Board of Peace to support a fragile ceasefire.

Uganda has already committed approximately 1,200 personnel following approval from its parliament. While Burundi has not finalized its involvement, senior military officers indicated an intent to join the mission.

Current commitments from other nations include Morocco (up to 500 personnel) and a combined total of roughly 80 personnel from Kosovo, Kazakhstan, and Albania. Indonesia had previously planned to send 8,000 troops but has placed that commitment on hold following U.S. and Israeli military actions against Iran.
