Uganda to host Future Hospitality Summit Africa in 2027

Uganda is set to host the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) Africa on February 2–3, 2027, at the Speke Resort Convention Centre in Kampala. The event aims to connect international investors, hotel developers, and tourism industry leaders to explore investment opportunities within the country’s hospitality sector.

The Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), in partnership with the Kampala Serena Hotel, recently held a launch reception to engage hospitality investors, government representatives, and private-sector stakeholders. The summit is intended to help Uganda position itself as a competitive destination for tourism and hospitality investment by leveraging its natural attractions, geographical location, and expanding air connectivity.

Roy Bannister, Head of Strategic Partnerships at FHS Africa, noted that the summit serves as a platform where “capital meets opportunity,” facilitating new relationships that can translate into business and infrastructure development in the region.
