Ugandan musicians Kenneth Mugabi and Lydia Jazmine headline major concerts

Ugandan musicians Kenneth Mugabi and Lydia Jazmine are hosting major musical events. Kenneth Mugabi is set to celebrate 10 years of his Kibun’omu project with a concert at the Ndere Cultural Centre on Saturday, September 12. The event, which also serves as a birthday celebration for the singer, features a promised surprise appearance by an East African music legend.

Separately, Lydia Jazmine held ‘The One and Only’ concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval. The event drew thousands of fans and featured performances by several artists, including Sheebah Karungi, Lillian Mbabazi, Fefe Bussi, Ray G, and Anknown. Despite a brief technical interruption during a performance with Geosteady, the concert proceeded with the audience singing along to hits such as ‘Cherie’ and ‘Masuuka’.
