Ugandan youth celebrate President Museveni’s 82nd birthday

Generation Z youth gathered at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to celebrate the 82nd birthday of President Yoweri Museveni. The event brought together young people, government leaders, and various stakeholders to discuss Uganda’s economic future.

In a message delivered by Vice President Jessica Alupo, President Museveni emphasized the importance of patriotism, nationalism, and Pan-Africanism. He highlighted the potential of the African continental market, consisting of 1.3 billion people, as an opportunity for Uganda to expand trade and increase production.

The President also called for continued industrialization and value addition to create jobs for the youth and enable the export of finished products. He urged citizens to embrace socio-economic transformation and wealth creation, noting that Uganda is steadily progressing toward becoming a middle-income economy.
